Saturday 20th of June, Nathan, Flynn and myself went into town for a drive. Nathan wanted to show me where the Budda's were... Apparently its called 'Summit Hill'. There are two big Budda statue's there and the view is just amazing!

We also decided to take Flynn to the Dunedin Botanical Gardens where at the top they have a massive avory for all kinds of different birds. Of course the best ones were the ones that could talk... Cockateils.

Still pretty chilly in Dunedin after the snow last Tuesday, but at least we can get out and about now. (Bring on summer I say!!).

Snow snow snow...

Today when I woke up and looked outside this is what I saw! SNOW... well I knew the forcast was for snow, but you know their never (hardly ever) right! So it was still a surprise to see the snow this morning!!
Actually it was so bad in town that they were saying on the radio not to drive on the motorway so I couldn't go to work! Not too happy about that actually! I am enjoying my job at the moment and was kinda bummed out.


So when it became light we decided to go outside and play, attempt a snow man etc..... mostly running around!

Started getting dark again here!

It didn't last long before the next wave of cold snow and horrible cloud came over and we went back inside! Ahhh good times.

Well I have been quite the busy wee bee lately! Started my new job on May 11th at Motor Trade Finance. In my 5th week and still have a few weeks of training to go! Enjoying getting out, meeting people and being my own person during the day again! Flynn is enjoying daycare and is falling asleep in the car on the way home at night! Quite handy for me because the new 'roster' is tirering us all out I think! Makes it much easier for me to be able to come home and put him straight to bed, then have tea and relax before hibenating for the night myself.... being winter and all!

Last weekend Flynn had a cold which very quickly turned into an ear infection, the fact that he is also getting two lots of double teeth at the same time isn't helping! Hense he has been a very tired wee boy lately! Sleeping, eating and growing! Can't be bad!!



I was told by a friend about these "ready" beds. They blow up, have a headboard and boarders! Well I wasn't prepared to pay the $75 price they have in the shops for them, so went on Trade me and got this one for $20!! Brand spankers!!

And as you can see Flynn loves it! Well worth it!
